Anyone ever had an Audi A8 (D3 2003-2010)?
I fancy a quick armchair to waft about in and as I get older I find myself fancying a barge as a second car.

Anyone had one of these. Or want to cunt me off??

All advice and cuntings are welcome.

I've been a 2011 BMW 5 series driver for the last 6 years. It has been a bag of shit and the only reason i've kept it so long is because of the amount i bought it for and the amount i've spent keeping it on the road. I'm changing soon and looking for a similar exec car, but fuck german quality and engineering, it is a fallacy. I'll be considering a Lexus or Jaguar next.

1) they don't make them anymore
2) less than practical in the real world.

LowermarshhammerBikers are fucking lunatics.

I was coming over the A13 on the straight just before the Pitsea fly over in the rain and about 10 at night and a bike was right up my arse.

I put my foot down and got up to about 130 but even in a 4 wheel drive sports car, i thought this is more than fast enough to go over that fly over at that speed with the conditions

The crazy cunt on a bike undertook me.... on one fucking wheel....!!! I realised then that bikers are mental.

I sympathise mate.

It's small dick syndrome. All Audi drivers have small dicks.

Seriously though Audi drivers are generally utter cunts.

When I was flying past everything on two wheels it was Audi drivers who would always get the most upset.

"How dare you spend about 40K to 50K less than me and yet still be faster than me? I'll just have to drive like a COCK because I am now FURIOUS."

One doesn't park one's own Roller. One has someone do it for one.

I parked my car upside down in a ditch and it still goes just fine.

I bet you can't do that with an Audi or a roller.

Audi is for the poorer brethren among us.

Have some class and follow my example. I had a Wraith for a couple of years as a little run around. Perfect for Peruvian conditions and the women are always impressed by the RR on the front.

If you're test driving an R8 then buy a Gallardo instead.

Cheers fella. I really do fancy the 4.2 Quattro petrol, trouble is they all seem to be LWB and I'm not sure I fancy that. Is it true all the FSI engines coke up? Even the 3.2 might be okay because I don't need Quattro (most of these seem non Quattro) in all honesty and it's something else that could go wrong.

I do think the FSI engines are chain driven too which must be better, must be a grand to change a cambelt on an earlier one I would think?

My mate's got a one year old R8. Took me out for a dpin in it and it was the fastest car I've been in, more like a big motor bike.
We went over to West London from East London to get him some Charlie, cost him 80 quid just in petrol (& that was when it was cheaper)

Re: Anyone ever had an Audi A8 (D3 2003-2010)?
I'm an Audi fan and have owned a few fast ones. Never had an A8 but have driven a few and it definitely fits the bill for what you want.

A big engined petrol version is the best option. Avoid very high mileage ones and history is very important. Make sure cam belts and coil packs have been changed on schedule and that it has some main dealer history, especially for the major services.

A properly looked after Audi is almost bullet proof, a neglected one is likely to be a money pit. It's worth taking your time to find the best one, there's no such thing as a good and cheap option with these. It's either one or the other.
